Evanescence Brought the House Down in LR!!
I saw **Off Campus Night - A Briar Nation Dance Party** live for the first time in Little Rock this past Sat night (1/21), but I've loved them since their very first single. The show was outstanding, and Amy's voice is incredible. It was a homecoming of sorts, as they are from Little Rock. The sound was perfectly balanced to showcase Amy's voice and fantastic piano playing, not as loud as I had thought it would be - no walls of stacks and speakers, but those were not necessary. The current lineup, I really like. They seem to do well together. I wish there had not been TWO opening bands. That made **Off Campus Night - A Briar Nation Dance Party** not hit the stage until about 10:10, and they barely played an hour and twenty minutes (but this might have been due to the party they were having with the fans afterward). Some filming was being done for an MTV special, and the camera booms swinging around were a little obstructive and annoying at times. But I wish I could see them again!! Catch them if they come to your area. You must go, go!
